Döbling Breast Health Center

The Breast Health Center at Döbling Outpatient Center offers all services – from diagnosis to treatment – in the field of breast health. With an interdisciplinary team of experts and the latest medical technology, we offer the best possible care.

At the Institute of Medical Imaging and Interventional Radiology, digital mammography is carried out using the latest fully digital equipment. This provides high quality images while reducing the radiation dose to half the previous level. To provide the most accurate possible analysis of the results, we follow the “double reading” principle, meaning that two medical specialists examine the images independently of each other. Mammographic examinations at Döbling Outpatient Center are available on a direct billing basis with Austrian social insurance providers.

The team at the Breast Health Center includes experts in breast surgery, medical oncology, radiology, nuclear medicine, pathology, radiotherapy, physical medicine, psycho-oncology, complementary medicine, genetic counseling, and social workers.

If you receive a diagnosis that requires surgery, this can be carried out at Döbling Private Hospital by your preferred attending physician. Additional treatments, such as chemotherapy or radiotherapy, are provided either in the hospital or in close cooperation with medical oncology and radiotherapy departments.

Doctors’ consultation fees are on a private basis and must be paid by the patient. We are happy to help you submit a reimbursement claim to your insurance provider.
