Tailored preventive check-ups

Modules

The basic module provides a framework for preventive care. At the initial consultation, genetic and lifestyle risk factors are assessed. Analysis of blood parameters gives a valuable insight into the current condition of the body. A general clinical examination and basic lung function testing are also included in the basic module. At the final consultation all test results are discussed and any questions answered.

UNIQA VitalCheck

Döbling Outpatient Center offers the UNIQA VitalCheck. This is a comprehensive preventive health examination that goes beyond the standard statutory preventive check-up. The UNIQA VitalCheck is available to UNIQA policyholders every two years. It consists of a basic module and one of four optional modules.

Scope of services (excerpt):

  • Resting ECG and exercise ECG for cardiovascular diagnostics
  • Pulmonary function test
  • Ultrasound examinations (e.g., upper abdomen, kidneys)
  • Comprehensive blood testing for the early detection of potential risk factors

Optional modules:

  • Women’s health – gynecological examination
  • Men’s health – urological examination
  • Healthy musculoskeletal system – orthopedic examination
  • ABI (ankle-brachial index) measurement

All test results are reviewed with the physician in charge during a personal final consultation. If necessary, recommendations for treatment and preventive measures are provided.

NOTE: We strive to offer both the basic module and the optional module on the same day; however, this cannot be guaranteed. If necessary, a separate appointment may need to be scheduled for the optional module.

UNIQA VorsorgeProgramm at Ambulatorium Döbling

In combination with the statutory preventive health check, Ambulatorium Döbling offers a preventive health program (“UNIQA VorsorgeProgramm”) for persons insured with UNIQA. This comprehensive program combines proven basic examinations with extended diagnostics and personalized preventive health counseling.

 

Selected services include:

  • Blood sampling with comprehensive laboratory diagnostics (including complete blood count, cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL, LDL, liver function tests, blood glucose, erythrocyte sedimentation rate, TSH, creatinine, uric acid; PSA for men, CEA in cases of justified suspicion)
  • Urinalysis and stool test for occult blood
  • Medical history (anamnesis) and clinical examination
  • Blood pressure measurement
  • Ultrasound of the upper abdomen and kidneys
  • Rectal examination
  • Assessment of vaccination status based on the vaccination record, including vaccination counseling

All results are evaluated in detail and discussed during a medical consultation, including individual recommendations for prevention and further care if needed.

Generali Rundum gesund

Döbling Outpatient Center also offers the health check-up as part of the Rundum Gesund package from Generali Versicherung. The check-up is available to all insured patients every two calendar years.
