The Department of Cardiovascular Surgery offers the entire spectrum of modern vascular medicine – from complex reconstructions of the abdominal aorta to interventions on leg arteries and veins and the professional treatment of chronic wounds. The focus is on individually-tailored treatment concepts and gentle, state-of-the-art surgical procedures.

- Carotid surgeries (stenosis of the carotid arteries, stroke prevention)
- Carotid-subclavian bypasses
- Leg artery reconstructions (complex groin reconstructions, peripheral bypass surgery)
- Abdominal aortic surgery (aortic aneurysms/pelvic stenosis/Leriche syndrome)

- Varicose vein surgery
- Wound and vacuum-assisted closure (VAC) treatments
